With everything that's going on right now (2020) I thought it would be a fitting and poignant moment to release some music that Empress Katia aka Katia Demeester, TkBassDread (Tom Kelly) and I worked on together last year. The musical draft and theme for “This too shall pass” came about when I was generally struggling and sick of being sick way back when the flu was just the flu… Working on the song helped me see through the current predicament, gain insight and adopt a broader perspective. Katia took the theme and articulated what I/we were feeling in her magical way and Tom blessed the tracks with groove, feel and vibe through a skilful and insightful contribution of drums and double bass. I feel that “Get to the point” and “The Garden” will also resonate with people now more than ever. I hope you enjoy the music and connect with, and pass on the message.
